A four-day air safari linking Madagascar's three western icons: the limestone cathedrals of the Grand Tsingy, the Avenue of the Baobabs at sunset, and the sandstone canyons and natural pools of Isalo. Private charter flights between Morondava and Ranohira keep you above the long dirt roads and inside the landscapes.

    Antananarivo → Grand Tsingy

    An early departure flies you over the High Plateau and the Manambolo River to the private Amborodia strip. A four-hour guided trek threads the limestone cathedrals of the Grand Tsingy, ending with sunset at the Avenue of the Baobabs. Dinner and night at Hotel Pallisandre.

    Morondava → Isalo

    A relaxed morning in Morondava and lunch at the hotel, then an afternoon takeoff to Ranohira, landing in the heart of the Isalo sandstone massif around 4:00 PM. Dinner and night at the lodge.

    Isalo — the natural swimming pool

    An easy three-hour return walk to the natural pool through a Tapia forest of pachypodiums and drought-tolerant plants, with landscapes that shift colour through the day and a swim in the natural pool.

    Canyon Maki & return

    A morning two-hour return trek to Canyon Maki, crossing savannah and rice paddies into a narrow canyon of ferns and palms where three lemur species are easily spotted. At 11:00 AM the tour ends and you take off for refuelling and the return sector.
